Blaubeuren

Only 20 km from Ulm lies the picturesque small town of Blaubeuren with the Blautopf. The Blautopf is the second largest karst spring in Germany and owes its name to its intense blue color. Also worth seeing is the hammer mill, which is powered by the spring water of the Blautopf, the Prehistoric Museum and the Blaubeuren Monastery.
